| Subject: WHERE HAVE YOU GONE MY SWEET? Sun Dec 28, 2008 1:29 am | |
| Where have you gone my sweet? Your love, you have taken away. When, I think of you, my heart skips a beat. My world is gray. I long for a kiss, to rub my sore feet.
My heart aches for you. The light behind my eye-lids is dimming. My hands, turning blue. My existence, drowning. Your love, I once knew.
On my death bed, I lie-- my breath, fading. To speak your name, I try but failing. My throat dry.
Crying! Hands and feet, cold. Ears, ringing. A letter arrived today; your demise, I was told. Sadness, I'm lamenting.
My fate, portent. It is un-known, if our souls will again cross, but in my bony hand, a hair-clip, of you a remnant. Years have passed--on my head-stone, burgeon moss-- a grievous sentiment. | |
