decending from Queen Anne of Hyde, Anne Bolyne. Roman has an extensive German, Swedish, and English family tree. It was because of Queen Anne of Hyde's love for poetry that he has a genuine gift. He even has a 3rd great-aunt who was a Govenor of 5 regions in Sweden and married a Duke to the swedish Royal Family.
Roman was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He lived there until he was nine-years-old. He lived in Central idaho (Challis) for over twenty-years. Since gramer-school, Roman loved to read, write, and sketch and excelled in all. In high-school, he added another love: foreign languages. He took a Latin Class. taken many years of Spanish in which after graduation, he was able to use while living in Southern Spain (1992-1994). The most enchanting cities for him was Granada, Seville, and Jaen. A time in which he wish never ended. while there he taught ESL (English as a Second Language).
In 1994, when he returned to the U.S. he began his stuidies at BYU-Idaho (Rick's College). He met amd Married Stephanie J., Thurber in 1996. They were married for twelve-years. July 2008, they divorced. They have to small children, Caelyn (7) and Andrew (5). The four of them live in Salt Lake City, Utah close by . . . while at BYU-Idaho, Roman recieved an Associates in Humanities and Spanish. While married, both Stephanie and Roman continued their studies at the University of Montana-Western (Western Montana College). They both worked in the campus library as work-study librarians while persuing their Bachelor's in Business Management and Literature and Writing, specializing in Theater and Poetry. Their daughter, Caelyn was born nine-days after Roman graduated in 2001. Shortly there after, they moved to Logan, Utah where he was employed at Icon Health and Fitness while persuing his writing. They lived in Cache Valley for six-years. Their son, Andrew was born in 2003.
After spending eleven-months in Salem, Oregon. They decided to move back to Utah but to Salt Lake City area. This was due to the constant rain. Roman is an active member of the Utah State Poetry Society since 2007. His recent works four new books of Poetry: "Ten Poems and One Letter to Ernest Hemingway", "Dachau: a Poem of the First Concentration Camp of World War II", (in poetic prose) "A Day of Dread[ed] Wrath: The Haun's Mill Massacre of 1838 (in poetic prose), and "Seventeen Poems to Princess Diana."
